Leadership Development Coach

Susie Laurenson is a leadership development coach who specializes in working with nursing, physician, and operations leaders in the healthcare sector.  She has extensive training in various approaches to personal, spiritual, and leadership development.  She is a change agent for leaders and team cultures.  Her career path has included working as a mental health practitioner and managing healthcare operations.  She is well positioned to appreciate and understand the complexities of the medical field. 

Susie’s one-on-one and group coaching sessions focus on guiding leaders to greater self-awareness of their patterns and behaviors that both serve and hinder their goals and dreams.  She helps leaders see how the culture of their team reflects their consciousness and provides a path to transformation.  She teaches many different tools and exercises to her clients.  Susie also teaches these transformation tools and concepts to large groups at retreats and workshops.  Her confident, warm and playful presence invites intimacy, laughter, and a trusted space for deep learning.

Susie earned her bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and her masters in counseling psychology from Sonoma State University. She holds coaching certifications from Spirit Coach and the Conscious Leadership Group.  She is a certified enneagram coach, an assessment tool that supports leaders in developing awareness of core patterns and emotional intelligence.  In her twenty plus years with Sutter Health’s Institute for Health & Healing, Susie helped to create the culture, protocols, policies and standards for Integrative Medicine.  She continues her coaching work within the Sutter Health system.
