Susan Ryan is a psychologist who lives and works in Berkeley. She is the associate director of the Wright Institute Older Adult Counseling and Psychological Services Program which trains Wright Institute doctoral students and offers free group and individual therapy to Berkeley residents 55 and up. This work sparked her interest in the effects of early trauma on older adult mental health.
