Mary Cochran Abraham, RN, MS, GNP-BC

I am an ANCC board certified Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. I received my MSN and NP training at UCSF. I previously worked as a primary care provider at the Yountville Veterans Home. I am currently working as part of the interdisciplinary team at the Kaiser Martinez Memory Center. Here I evaluate patients referred for memory impairment, provide diagnoses and treatment, and provide ongoing support and management for patients and families. I developed and teach a Caregiver’s Skills class for family caregivers as part of the Memory Center program. Separately, I work in the Dept of Neurology at Kaiser Walnut Creek with patients with movement disorders, I am part of the regional neuroscience team providing evaluation of candidates for deep brain stimulation treatment and programming/adjusting deep brain stimulators for patients once they are implanted.
I am an active member of the Gerontology Advance Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA). I am currently serving as president of the Northern California Chapter.
