Patricia Fone, MD
Patricia Fone is a Sutter urologist, practicing general urology, both outpatient and inpatient at Sutter Roseville hospital. Her practice includes adults as well as children, and all genders, and includes stone disease, prostate disease, both malignant and nonmalignant, and the spinal cord injured. Due to referral patterns, her practice has a minor emphasis on female urology, including the surgical treatment of bladder prolapse, and the nonsurgical management of complex urinary tract infections and voiding dysfunction.
Patricia Fone received her medical degree at the George Washington University School of medicine, in 1991. She completed 6 years of residency training (which included 2 years of General Surgery and 4 years of Urology) at the University of California, Davis, in Sacramento, CA.
During her fifth year of residency, a research year, she worked in the weekly multidisciplinary clinic of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, helping manage the urologic needs of the Spinal Cord injured patients.
During this same year, Dr Fone did a retrospective study on urodynamic findings in the patient with tethered cord, pre and post untethering, which was published in the Journal of Urology.
Since completion of her residency, she has been practicing with Sutter Medical Group for 27 years.
She continues to perform urodynamics for the Sutter Rehabilitation Center.
When Patricia is not working, she enjoys visiting her 3 children, ages 20 to 26. The youngest is in her Junior year at Syracuse University. Other interests include hiding, gardening, and traveling, and if she has a bit of free time, she likes to craft.
