I became a RN in 2016 after graduating from Samuel Merritt University with my BSN. After graduating I worked at a skilled nursing facility and then went on to work at Sutter Senior Care PACE clinic. During my time at both the skilled nursing facility and the SSC clinic I saw patients with ostomies and wounds with various complications. I found myself interested in assisting with wound care and learning more about how to improve the wound care for my patient populations. I got my wound, ostomy, and continence certification and came to work at Sutter Roseville Medical Center as a Certified Wound Ostomy Continence RN. Outside of work I enjoy spending time outside with my Bernese Mountain dog Stella and I am looking forward to becoming a mom next March.
