Rusty Marsh, MBA, serves as Operations Executive, for Sutter Surgery Center Division, overseeing ambulatory surgery centers and one surgical hospital in the Greater Sacramento, Greater Central Valley, and Greater East Bay markets.

Rusty has more than 25 years of management experience, including the last 18 years in health care operations. He began working with Sutter Health in 2014, serving as the Administrator of Apogee Surgery Center in Redding. In 2016, Rusty joined SSCD with responsibility overseeing ASCs in Roseville and Auburn. His leadership responsibilities have progressed with additional ASC leadership and oversight throughout the Sutter footprint, including Modesto, Sacramento and Oakland. Under his leadership, many of the ASCs and local teams have been recognized with awards for excellence.

Rusty earned an MBA from Pepperdine University, with an emphasis in corporate strategy and finance. He holds a Certified Administrator Surgery Center certification.
