I was born and raised in Kisumu, Kenya, and moved the United States at the age of 13. I complete my undergraduate education at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA. I then completed Medical School at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. My passion for surgery led me to Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle for my surgical internship and residency. During my time as a surgery resident, I developed a strong interest in endocrinology and endocrine surgery. I ultimately competed a Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco.
