Bill Beninati is a critical care physician with Intermountain Healthcare over TeleHealth Services, Outreach, Patient Placement and Transfer, Life Flight, and Classic Air Medical. Intermountain is a vertically integrated not-for-profit system with 33 hospitals, 385 clinics, a comprehensive air medical transport program with over 50 aircraft, and health plan with over 1 million insured lives. With an administrator dyad Dr. Beninati leads a comprehensive telehealth program spanning from asynchronous and direct-to-consumer services through multiple acute/critical care programs. The acute programs are fully integrated with the system medical command function and air medical transport.

Dr. Beninati’s focus is on developing and operating these services to deliver care which enhances safety and quality. His research interest is in the application of computer vision-machine learning in support of patient safety, in collaboration with Stanford investigators.
