Beginning in 2008, I started on faculty as the Assistant Director of the Psychiatry Consultation-Liaison (CL) Service at UCSF.  In 2012 I transitioned to Kaiser Permanente, San Rafael to direct the CL service and co-lead the delirium management program. Since then, I have co-led the expansion of this Delirium program to all 21 KP hospitals in Northern California.  In addition, I serve as Assistant Chief of Med-Legal, co-Chair of the Ethics Committee, and Assistant Physician in Chief for Risk, Patient Safety, and Outpatient Quality.
