Thomas Lawson PhD, APRN-CNP, ACNP-BC is the lead nurse practitioner in the neurocritical care unit at The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center and James Cancer Hospital in Columbus Ohio. During his tenure as a critical care nurse practitioner, he has taught numerous nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians the ins and outs of neurocritical care.

He completed a PhD at OSU where he researched the epidemiology of delirium in critically ill stroke patients. His program of research seeks to improve to health outcomes of critically ill neuro patients by targeting delirium in the NCCU. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.

He co-founded Board Review Associates (https://www.boardreviewassociates.com) which provides AG-ACNP board certification review courses for recent nurse practitioner graduates.
