Charlie Palmer, MD is a fourth year combined Neurology-Psychiatry resident at MUSC in Charleston, SC. He is interested in brain-behavior relationships, clinical neuropsychiatry, and neuromodulation. His research focuses on reducing the rates of post-stroke delirium as well as novel therapeutic techniques such as low-intensity focused ultrasound and deep brain stimulation. After graduation, he plans to continue his clinical research and care for patients with complex neuropsychiatric issues. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, backpacking, and endurance sports.
