Lindsey Hospodar obtained her undergraduate degree from Lock Haven University where she majored in Health Sciences and minored in Chemistry. She then attended the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. It was during her inpatient psychiatry rotation that she decided to pursue a career in psychiatry. She is now finishing her third year of general psychiatry residency training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Lindsey's interests in psychiatry are varied and include geriatrics, mood and anxiety disorders, women's mental health, and community psychiatry. She will be completing the Center for Public Service Psychiatry fellowship offered through the University of Pittsburgh during her last year of residency.
