I am a second-year internal medicine resident at Indiana University School of Medicine. I graduated from the Alexandria University School of Medicine in Egypt. I did a geriatric medicine fellowship at Saint Louis University, MO, where I got to care for our seniors in hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation facilities. My areas of interest are geriatric syndromes especially, dementia and delirium, and Post-hospitalization/Post-ICU care. I am planning to do pulmonary and critical care fellowship training get experience in ICU care, and monitor post-ICU recovery trajectories. I am grateful to be a part of Dr. Khan's research group, where I get the opportunity to work on a lot of projects related to delirium and Post-ICU care.
