Nadine is passionate about her work in Geriatrics and providing quality age-friendly care to our seniors. Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC)  is proud to be part of the Age-Friendly Health System movement.  Nadine has been leading the HELP team as the Elder Life Specialist at HUMC for 15 years.  She holds a master's degree in Public Administration with a concentration in Health Policy and Management from New York University. She was a key player in the planning phase and acquisition of the Joint Commission Disease Specific Certification in Delirium, the first of its kind nationally in 2011. Nadine serves on many HUMC committees that include: Geriatric Quality Council, HUMC Delirium Task Force, Fall Prevention Work Group, Pain and Palliative Medicine Institute, Geriatric Surgical Verification Program, Geriatric Emergency Room, and the Geriatric Network Nursing Council. Nadine also works closely with our AGS CoCare HELP partners and serves as a mentor to new HELP sites.
