Dr. Shixie “Max” Jiang is currently a clinical fellow in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Stanford University School of Medicine. Originally from Quxian, China, he graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in biology and received his M.D. from the University of Central Florida. He completed his general psychiatry residency training at the University of South Florida. Dr. Jiang’s clinical interests are in critical care psychiatry, delirium, and depression in the medically ill. His research endeavors focus on the application of optical neuroimaging in delirium and Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.
