Dr. Palmer is a board-certified geriatrician and Assistant Professor in the Division of Hospital Internal Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is active in resident,  fellow, and APP education on the Hospital Internal Medicine Geriatrics teaching service. Dr. Palmer is a recipient of the Kogod Scholar Award from the Robert and Arlene Kogod Center on Aging at Mayo Clinic and the Sagol GerOmics Award for Junior Faculty from the American Federation for Aging Research. She conducts research studying the biologic underpinnings of delirium risk. Her clinical interests include healthy longevity, dementia, and delirium.
