Dr. Johnson-Akeju earned his undergraduate degree from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and his medical degree from the New Jersey Medical School. He completed his internship and residency training in anesthesiology at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Master of Medical Science degree from Harvard Medical School, and post-doctoral research training at Harvard University. He is currently the anesthetist-in-chief at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Henry Isaiah Dorr Associate Professor of Research and Teaching in Anaesthetics and Anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School.
