Charleen Singh, PhD MBA MSN/ED FNP-BC CWOCNF CNE RN
Dr. Singh brings over 25 years of experience working across the health care spectrum to improve outcomes. She started her career in pediatrics working at B.C. Children's Hospital then Seattle Children's and settling in at Lucile Packard Stanford Children's Hospital where she developed the role of the certified WOC nurse. During her career in pediatrics, she partnered with San Jose State University to develop the first WO nursing education program in California. As the codirector of the SJSU WO program she continues to improve outcomes by mentoring future WO nurses. Her passion for sharing the specialty knowledge of WOC nursing extends globally through International WOCNEP, a non-profit serving nurses across Asia.
She lectures both Nationally and Internationally, sharing the results of her research on preventing pressure injuries and the impact of prevention interventions.
Currently Dr. Singh is the assistant program director at the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing MEPN program UC Davis and continues to work clinically with the surgical team at Cottage Hospital Santa Barbara.
