Elizabeth “Eli” Engstrom, BSN, RN graduated from Georgetown University School of Nursing and Health Studies with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009. She has worked as a registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and an Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) specialist at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, which led her to her current role as a research nurse with the CIBS Center at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is passionate about improving care for critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients.
