Alex Barry is a pediatric critical care research nurse at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. She works for the Critical Illness, Brain Dysfunction, and Survivorship (CIBS) Center at Vanderbilt where she studies delirium on critically ill pediatric patients. Currently she is managing an R01 grant funded by the NHLBI that measures the prevalence of delirium in patients randomized to either Dexmedetomidine or Midazolam.
