Heidi Lindroth, Ph.D. R.N.
Dr. Heidi Lindroth is an award-winning, NIH-funded clinician-nurse scientist at Mayo Clinic and an affiliate with the Indiana University Center for Aging Research within the Regenstrief Institute. Her vision is a world without delirium. To achieve this vision, she is determined to transform our healthcare system from Healthcare 1.0 to Healthcare 2.0 by codeveloping evidence-based tools that patients, families, and clinicians can use to improve patient outcomes. She received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine, receiving a graduate certificate in Agile Science and Implementation. She serves as a board member for the American Delirium Society, co-leads the international iDelirium World Delirium Awareness Day Team, and consults as an Agile Scientist with Blue Agilis while remaining an active frontline critical care nurse.
