Seasoned in a fast-paced, and often critical, emergency room environment, as a Geriatric Emergency Nurse Consultant, RN, MICN, I have relied on thorough observation, interpretive evaluation, and proactive response to repeatedly offer effective, high-quality care to patients in my years as an emergency room nurse and current Geriatric Emergency Nurse Consultant.

With an educational foundation in both biology (B.S.) and nursing (B.S.). I started my career in neurovascular care before shifting my focus to emergent and non-emergent ER patient care in a Level I trauma center, where I have developed an aptitude for swift decision-making and effective complex communication in a high-pressure environment. As a project manager of development for a software company prior to working in healthcare, I often worked as a liaison between customers and developers, ensuring accuracy and satisfaction with end products while cultivating the ability to interface with clients. This position, along with my later experience in healthcare, has honed my natural leadership, management, and interpersonal skills. I have continued to refine these abilities through memberships in committees for both professional practice and quality and safety. From my many years of nursing experience, I bring an invaluable and broad understanding of medical issues, terminologies, and treatments.
