Julia Herzenberg is the Director of the Clinical Innovation Consultancy at Kaiser Permanente, Northern California. With over two decades of experience, she has a proven track record in executing large-scale clinical, quality, and patient safety improvement projects. She holds a B.S. in Zoology from the University of Rhode Island and an M.S. in Cell and Developmental Biology/Animal Science from U.C. Davis. Since joining Kaiser Permanente in 2000, Julia has worked as a consultant on inpatient and ambulatory clinical care projects. Julia was instrumental in developing and implementing a standardized approach to preventing, assessing, treating and documenting delirium in Kaiser Permanente's 21 hospitals in their Northern California market. Since 2000, Julia is an Advisory Council Member with the American Delirium Society.
