Julianna is currently a 3rd year medical student at the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry, and has been involved in delirium research with the SAGES study, led by Dr. Sharon Inouye, since 2020. She participated in the 2023 Medical Student Training in Aging Research (MSTAR) program at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, through which she received a T35 grant to continue her work with SAGES. She is also a leader of her medical school’s aging interest group, a student-led branch of AGS that advocates for compassionate, well-rounded care for older adults throughout the medical system.
