Let me introduce myself. I am a licensed physical therapist (PT) and have enjoyed 27 years of PT experience. I’ve worked with a wide variety of patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. More recently, I have been applying my clinical experience to research studies.  I work with patients who are undergoing spine surgery, orthopedic Lower Extremity trauma repair surgery. Additionally, I work with patients who are critically ill and undergo surgeries where they are in the ICU for multipe days.  Our work with this population involves physical and cognitive therapy before and after surgery, to reduce the presence of delirium and improve outcomes.    

A few words about myself – my husband Mark and I are recent “empty nesters” with our 3 children (triplets) away at college.  I like to spend time outdoors with my family, and I also enjoy cooking, gardening, and hiking with my dog.
