Pamela Dixon, Pamela Dixon MOT OTR/L
Pamela Dixon is an Occupational Therapist and a Manager of Rehabilitation Services at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus in the Inpatient Acute Care Setting. She received her Bachelor’s in Health Sciences in 1997 and Masters of Occupational Therapy in 1998 at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh PA. She is proud to have been part of the Cleveland Clinic organization for the last 26 years and a manager for 18 years. Since 1998 she has practiced in the following clinical areas; Acute Care, SNF, Acute Rehab, and Outpatient Peds. In her managerial role at Cleveland Clinic she is responsible for Occupational Therapy Operations and the Neuro and Med Surg OT/PT Teams. She has been involved and led multiple multidisciplinary workgroups as well as quality improvement and continuous improvement efforts. Pam is a member of the Third Delirium Council and NICHE Committee. Pam is the chair of the OT Acute Care Special Interest Group and Leadership for L.I.F.E Special Interest Group. Pam has a lead role in education for Occupational Therapists across the system. She is dedicated to the mission of elevating the distinct value of occupational therapy, especially in the acute care. She is also passionate about OT’s role in cognition and delirium as well as leadership and professional development and skill building. Pam has presented on cognition, delirium, and leadership topics/skill development at an organizational, state, and national level.
