Alison Mudge, PhD MBBS FRACP
Alison is a physician and health services researcher who is passionate about improving care for older inpatients. She has led a multidisciplinary program of research embedded in the acute hospital system including developing, evaluating and scaling up the successful Eat Walk Engage delirium prevention program which is currently embedded in 19 hospitals in Queensland, Australia. She supervises novice and experienced clinician researchers across many healthcare disciplines and advocates to improve care for older people and those with cognitive impairment in her hospital, health service and state through a range of clinical and policy partnerships including active consumer engagement.
