Jaimie Vickery is the Director of Government Affairs and Advocacy for the Oncology Nursing Society.  The role is ONS’ primary representative and advocate on national policy issues related to cancer care, oncology nursing, and the nursing profession.  In addition, she works directly with ONS members, chapters, coalitions, and patient advocacy organizations to achieve the ONS mission.

A native of Southern California, Ms. Vickery holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Azusa Pacific University in California and a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University in Washington DC.  With more than 20 years of advocacy and policy experience, she has worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide and advocated for multiple public health organizations at the federal level.
