0249_MMC_Oncology Journal Club- Sexual Health in Patients with Breast Cancer_Live
Improved survivorship due to advances in breast cancer screening, detection, and therapy demands an emphasis on improving quality of life, yet many patients report unmet needs related to sexual health education that cannot be addressed with a one-size-fits-all approach (Huynh et al., 2022). In this Journal Club presentation, the interprofessional team will focus on the topic of best practice recommendations for sexual health education in patients with breast cancer.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the learning activity, the learner will be able to:
1. Describe the timing in which potential adverse sexual health effects of treatment should be addressed.
2. Formulate at least one strategy to prevent and alleviate symptoms of sexual dysfunction in patients with breast cancer.
