RESEARCH AND QUALITY IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES
I have a long interest in measuring and improving quality of care. My prior research work focused on measuring processes and outcomes of care for patients hospitalized for pneumonia. After residency, I completed a fellowship at UCSF where I was trained in clinical research and quality improvement methodology using the Lean approach. I was also certified as a UCSF Learning Health Systems coach which requires quality improvement training and demonstration of principles through a longitudinal improvement project
