Course Description:
This presentation gives neurologists and neurosurgeons an opportunity to stay up to date on the latest advances and best practice recommendations in neurological care in the treatment of seizures. This also is a forum for neurologists and neurosurgeons to come together to discuss complex or rare patient cases involving seizures and share various expertise so as to make informed decision on the patient's treatment plan.

Learning Objectives
After completion of this course, learners will demonstrate the following competencies related to Alzheimer's Disease. Ability to:
• Discuss how interictal spikes and high frequency oscillations fulfill criteria for the current definition while subclinical seizures do not.
• Differentiate between the current definition of seizures and related phenomena that are excluded.
• Evaluate whether a new definition is needed that incorporate electrophysiology into the definition of seizures and improves diagnostic certainty
