This presentation will discuss the role of estrogen over a woman's lifespan and the latest updates in the treatment of perimenopause and menopause. Learners will have the opportunity to discuss the latest best practice recommendations through an interactive Q & A.

• Summarize the role of estrogen during a woman’s lifespan.
• Describe menopause’s effects on a woman’s health and quality of life.
• Apply current guidelines for menopausal hormone therapy (MHT) in practice.
• Discuss benefits and risks of available and emerging treatments for vasomotor symptoms (hot flashes) and vulvo-vaginal atrophy (vaginal dryness).
• Integrate discussion about menopause symptoms and shared decision-making with menopausal women.
