- Started my nursing career in a cardiac stepdown unit after completing nursing school at Auburn University in 2009
- Looking for adventure, I moved to the Bay Area of California, landing quickly at Eden Medical Center on the MedSurg Unit in 2010
- Started graduate studies in an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program with the University of Alabama Birmingham in 2013
- Preceptorship included ICU and Neurosurgery hours, which opened the door to start my NP career with the Neurosurgery team at EMC in 2015
