Stephanie Carter, RN, BSN, CPN is a pediatric nurse with over 33 years of experience in both acute and primary care settings.  After graduating from the University of Colorado, Beth El College of Nursing in 1990, she began her career at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento as a staff nurse working in Pediatrics and Pediatric Oncology. She has over 10 years of experience as a Certified Diabetes Nurse Educator and another 10 years as a Pediatric Triage/Advice RN working in a large pediatric care center.  She is currently employed at Sutter Medical Center Sacramento with the Pediatric Endocrine and Nutrition Services (PENS) Team, providing comprehensive diabetes education.  Stephanie has a passion for nursing and is grateful for the opportunity to partner with children and their families, providing support and encouragement as they learn to live healthy and happy lives with diabetes.
