Rudolph Schrot, MD, MAS, FAANS
Dr. Rudolph Schrot, born in Olean, New York, is a distinguished neurosurgeon. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in psychobiology from Yale University in 1990 and earned his MD degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1996. Following this, Dr. Schrot pursued post-graduate medical training at the University of Washington in Seattle and completed his neurosurgery residency at UC Davis in 2004 and after serving on the faculty after training, joined Sutter Medical Group in 2013. He currently maintains a bustling practice at Sutter Medical Center of Sacramento. Dr. Schrot is nationally recognized as an expert in the treatment of Tarlov Cyst disease and routinely treats patients from across the nation. His other areas of focus include neuromodulation for pain and movement disorders, degenerative spinal conditions, and brain tumors.
