Kristi Selby, RN

After graduating in nursing school in 2011, Kristi Selby had a passion for end-of-life care that started during her first semester in nursing school. She immediately went to work for a skilled nursing facility, where she worked primarily with hospice patients. After the birth of her first daughter, Kristi went to work as a case manager for developmentally delayed clients in group homes, but soon realized her passion stayed in palliative care and hospice. Kristi had her second daughter and when she was a few months old, Kristi started working for Heartland Hospice as an admissions nurse and then manager. Kristi transitioned to Sutter in 2015 to work for the AIM program as a Home Health nurse, and then transitioned to the AIM preceptor and transitions/tele-support AIM nurse. When the AIM program made some adjustments in early 2021, Kristi came to SCAH Hospice as a hospital liaison for Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital, where she has been for almost two years. Kristi has two daughters, who are now 10 and eight, along with a husband, five dogs and four cats. They love to visit Disneyland several times a year
