Doug Binzak, aka "db" is a continually amazed father of two boys. He currently serves as Bereavement Counselor for Sutter Care At Home based in Concord, CA.

He has worked in Hospice for the past decade as either a Spiritual Counselor, Bereavement Counselor, or both, with prior stints at Tranquil Care Hospice in Los Angeles, Hospice Maui in Hawaii, and CrossRoads Hospice in Vallejo, CA.  Doug also has been a Chaplain for the Mercy Retirement and Care Home in Oakland, CA, a Night Minister and Late Night Phone Counselor for the San Francisco Night Ministry, and a Nationally Certified Yoga Instructor with various studios in California and Hawaii.  Prior to all of this he was a television executive in Hollywood for 15 years.  He has shared with others what has been passed down to him through his "Practicing Peace" website posts (found at www.dougbinzak.com), volunteer work,  stream-able "Healing Yoga" short video series (available through www.yogisanonymous.com), and Hospice counseling work.

He loves to travel, hike the local Redwood Forests, experiment as a cook, cheer for his Green Bay Packers and, most of all, share this wild ride of Life with his beloved sons Harry and Quin.
