Course Description:
This presentation will focus on the updated 2021 guidelines for Recurrent Clostridiodes Difficile Infection and share the newest FDA approved treatments for patients. Strategies will be discussed on how practitioners can implement these new treatments appropriately.

- Review the pathophysiology of recurrent Clostridioides difficile (C. diff) infection.
- Summarize C. diff diagnostic tests.
- Appraise current treatments, including antibiotics and monoclonal antibodies.
- Discuss efficacy and safety of live biotherapeutic products (LBPs) for C. diff.
