Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in the adult population is frequently associated with comorbid psychiatric diseases that complicate its recognition, diagnosis and management. This course will be an overview of best practices for treating ADHD with comorbid anxiety, depression and substance abuse.

Upon completion of this program, care team members will be able to:
- Discuss strategies to treat comorbid ADHD and anxiety.
- Discuss strategies to treat comorbid ADHD and depression.
- Discuss strategies to treat comorbid ADHD and substance abuse.
- Demonstrate competency evaluating and treating comorbid ADHD to limit distress, aggression towards self and others, and to improve quality of life.
