Nicholas Dewyer, MD

Nicholas A. Dewyer, MD is a practicing neurotolgist. He serves as the Director of Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery and Medical Director of Audiology at Sutter California Pacific Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr Dewyer attended the University of Michigan Medical School on a competitive full-tuition Dean’s Scholarship and then completed a 5-year residency in Otolaryngology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) followed by a 2-year fellowship in Neurotology at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts Eye and Ear. He is board certified in both Otolaryngology and Neurotology.
Prior to joining California Pacific Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, he served as an Associate Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson and Directors of Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery and Audiology at Banner University Medical Center – Tucson.
Dr Dewyer’s clinical practice is focused on providing the best care for patients who may need ear surgery. This includes patients with tympanic membrane perforations, cholesteatoma, chronic ear infections, otosclerosis, hearing loss, cochlear implants, bone conduction hearing implants, superior semicircular canal dehiscence (SSCD), skull base defects and spinal fluid (CSF) leaks in the ear, cancer of the ear, and vestibular schwannomas (aka acoustic neuromas).
