0108_CPMC_Who is the Surrogate? Applying California's Updated Law in Clinical Practice_LIVE
Course Description
A significant percentage of ethics consultations involve health care surrogates. California state law now explicitly grants health care providers or designees of health care facilities the legal authority to appoint surrogates. These ethic consultations include unique situations involving identification of, and conflict between, potential surrogates. This webinar will provide strategies and best practices to ensure appropriate health care surrogates participate in decision-making with the medical team.
