Course Description: 

This presentation gives neurologists and neurosurgeons an opportunity to stay up to date on the latest advances and recommendations in neurological care and also serves as a platform to share best practices within the neuroscience clinical practice. This also is a forum for neurologists and neurosurgeons to come together to discuss complex or rare patient cases involving brain lesions and share various expertise so as to make informed decision on the patient's treatment plan.

After completion of this course, learners will demonstrate the following competencies related to cryptic/occult vascular Cavernous Malformations:

• Summarize the pathophysiology and natural history of cavernous malformations.

• Discuss the indications and current best practice options for treatment.

• Examine the relation to other associated lesions such as developmental venous anomalies and their risk.
