Description: 

This is a Surgical Case Conference where multidisciplinary recommendations for cancer treatments, and applications to individual patient cases both pre-surgery and post-surgery, are collaboratively developed based on data, patient preferences, and research. The conference serves as mechanism for both surgical and radiological specialists to share knowledge, discuss emerging evidence, and collaboratively share in the responsibility of care with the goal of developing individualized care plans for hard to solve cases.

Target Audience: 

Physicians (MD or DO)

Learning Objectives: 

At the completion of this activity, learners will be able to:

1. Identify consultative services to consider for patient with surgical problems.

2. Discuss patient selection for laparoscopic, robotic, and open procedures.

3. Diagnose common surgical complications in all patients with special emphasis in the management of older adult patients.
